5 Diwali Coloring Pages for Kids
Celebrate the festival of lights with free Diwali coloring pages. Color a glowing diya, a detailed rangoli pattern, a hanging paper lantern, a plate of laddoos and bursting fireworks.
These pages are a gentle way to share the story of Diwali in the classroom: light over darkness, cleaning and decorating the home, and sharing sweets with neighbours.
Tips for diwali coloring
- Use bright festival colours: saffron, magenta, gold, turquoise and deep red.
- For the rangoli page, color the pattern symmetrically — the same colour in every matching petal.
- Stick gold paper or sequins on the diya flame after coloring for a shiny finish.
Frequently asked questions
When is Diwali in 2026?
Diwali falls on 8 November 2026. The festival is celebrated over five days.
Is the rangoli page hard?
It has more parts than the other pages, so it suits ages 6 and up. Younger kids can just color the big petals.
